• At the CJD Foundation conference on 12 July 2026 Sangamo showed a 3-month GLP toxicology study in monkeys with no ST-506-related adverse findings and mouse survival above 494 days post inoculation at high dose versus 169.5 for vehicle.
• The same slides said final toxicology analyses and manufacturing remained before a clinical trial application and that the new owner was expected to continue development with possible delays.
